Höstsådd

För någon vecka sen ställde jag en fråga till odla.se´s expert Sylvia angående min höstsådd av Aubretia som redan har kommit upp. Idag fick jag svar!

Ja, du satte dina aubretia lite för tidigt. Meningen med höstsådder är  
att så så sent att plantorna inte hinner gro men att frosten bearbetar  
fröna (stratifierar med naturmetoden) och så gror de på våren så fort  
fröna tycker att det är dags.

Du kan försöka täcka dina aubretia med torra löv och granris, kanske de  
klarar sig och de aubretiafrön som inte har grott ännu kan gro på våren.

Täcka med löv har jag ju redan gjort, så där tänkte jag rätt. Men frågan är om jag för säkerhetsskull ska så lite nya frön om de som redan grott inte överlever.. Har nog några kvar så det är kanske lika bra!
